DOUBTS FIRM MY RELIGION

"Doubts Firm My Religion" is a collection
of short verse poetry and companion art
that is remotely based on a picture my
mother tore from a weekly magazine and
painted on canvas. It contains a cerulean
sky; chronology; a childhood memory that
wants to keep changing; autobiography;
impossible crosswords; a hesitant artist
drawing
conclusions; the dirt from my
nails;
ground underfoot.
